Ayo R. Alston-Moore is a litigation associate who enjoys drawing on her experience to help people navigate issues arising out of their employment. Her practice includes a wide variety of employment and complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters. Her diverse skillset and experience span all phases of the trial process, including motion practice, preparing fact witnesses, taking and defending depositions, as well as first-chairing mediations, negotiations, and settlements.
Prior Experience
Ms. Alston-Moore is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, having advocated for employee and artist rights, and represented corporations in business disputes. Prior to joining Filippatos PLLC, Ms. Alston-Moore worked as a litigation associate at a full-service law firm in midtown Manhattan, and as a litigation associate at a boutique law firm where she primarily represented employees in discrimination matters and artists pursuing VARA claims. She also gained significant trial experience working for a New York City handling child abuse and neglect matters. After law school, Ms. Alston-Moore clerked for Judge Andrea G. Carter of the New Jersey Superior Court, Middlesex County.
