Falisha Pierre, Law Clerk

Falisha Pierre is a recent graduate of Pace University – Elisabeth Haub School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2020. While in law school, Ms. Pierre was a member of the Pace Intellectual Property, Sports, and Entertainment Law Forum and participated in the 2019 National Immigration Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, Ms. Pierre graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, and a minor in Journalism. Ms. Pierre’s legal career began as a paralegal for an employment law firm in 2015; after dabbling in different areas of law, Ms. Pierre came to learn that she has a strong commitment to the enforcement of employee rights, which is serendipitous to her career at Filippatos PLLC. In her free time, Falisha enjoys reading, and spending time with her friends and family, and taking walks with her one-year-old Maltipoo, Charlie.

After spending nearly 40 years in the media & publishing business focusing on innovative research approaches, Britta Cleveland is happy to be supporting the mission of Filippatos PLLC by keeping the office running smoothly for our clients. Life continues to be an adventure for Ms. Cleveland as she watches her five children turn into adults. When not monitoring FPLLC, Britta is interested in outdoor activities with her two dogs – as well as hiking, walking, running, swimming, gardening – and reading and getting back to playing the cello.

Lily Filippatos graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a minor in French. In particular Ms. Filippatos has a passion for social justice Theater; she aspires to create works of art that inspire equity, liberation, and deep social change. Lily believes her study of the Theater provides her with a unique perspective on the human condition, and an ability to dissect interpersonal relations with compassion and nuance. Ms. Filippatos is proficient in French, and has a love of immersing herself in cultures from all around the world. Lily enjoys acting, travel, literature, writing, singing and dancing, and playing chess with her brother, Theodore.

Ethan Pickens is a rising senior majoring in legal studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He attended his first year of college at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he developed a strong interest in legal studies. Ethan is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Mr. Pickens' ambitions include attending law school and being able to defend and safeguard the individual rights and liberties provided to all citizens by the United States constitution and laws. Ethan fell in love with travel while growing up in the Netherlands and picked up some Dutch along the way. He hopes to get his pilot license, enjoys animals, excellent cuisine, pleasant weather and resting.
