Emma previously interned for Filippatos PLLC in the summer of 2024 and 2025. Smith-Marrone has graduated from Boston University in May of 2026 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Economics.
Emma was a part of the Boston Political Review, Pre-Law Review, and Pre-Law Society Legal Research and Writing Committee organizations whilst attending college.

On campus, Emma was a Senior Editor for the Boston Political Review, a nonpartisan student-run political publication. She has written for the Boston University Pre-Law Review and is currently a member of the BU Pre-Law Society’s Legal Research and Writing Committee.
