Mr. Chavez has more than four years of experience practicing law and has spent more than a decade representing and assisting those in need. As an associate attorney, his work at Filippatos PLLC is geared towards helping employees and labor unions in individual and class actions against companies in various industries, including information technology, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, healthcare, banking, real estate, and municipalities. Mr. Chavez has experience litigating in federal and state court on both the trial court and appellate level.

Before joining Filippatos PLLC, Mr. Chavez worked for more than a decade in professional environments geared towards helping those in need, representing diverse communities with an asset-based development approach.
Education
Mr. Chavez received a B.S. in Political Science and Legal Studies from Northwestern University in 2012 and a J.D. from Cardozo Law School in 2021. At Cardozo Law School, Daniel served as a the Vice-President of the OUTLaw Student Organization, and Senior Editor on Moot Court Honor Society. Daniel is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York.
