Dana Sussman is an associate at Filippatos PLLC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctor from George Washington University, where she concentrated in Intellectual Property Law. While in law school, Dana was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Board, served as a Dean’s Fellow, and participated in both the Entertainment & Sports Law Association (ESPLA) and the Student Intellectual Property Law Association (SIPLA).
Prior Experience
Dana’s experience includes an internship at the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA), where she developed a deep understanding of copyright issues in the music industry. She also served as a law clerk at Lutzker & Lutzker, further honing her legal skills and commitment to protecting client rights.
Prior to law school, Dana worked in stage management at various Chicago theaters and held a position in entertainment at Walt Disney World. This unique background allows her to navigate the employment challenges faced by clients in creative industries with insight and empathy.
