Managing Partner Erica Healey-Kagan was featured as a speaker on the panel, Own Your Power: Protecting Your Rights at Work, Home & Beyond. She shared two important takeaways:
1) If something feels off at work and you believe you are being treated differently, trust your instincts. Speak up early, don’t wait until the situation becomes overwhelming.
2) Consider consulting an employment lawyer to help protect your rights and ensure you have a strong advocate in your corner.
Erica also participated in an interview with Andy Castellano of Sharc Creative, where she discussed her professional journey, including her unexpected transition from a path in medicine to a career in law. She emphasized the profound impact that workplace environments can have on overall well-being and underscored the importance of staying actively engaged in the community to build trust and relationships before legal needs arise.
We look forward to continuing these important conversations, and to next year’s Westchester Women’s Summit!
